Gasly and SODI on the World Cup Podium.

The SODI brand continues to shine in international races. After allowing Tanguy Carel and then Pierre Gasly to finish as best French in the last two editions of the European KF3 Championship, and then Loïc Reguillon to do the same in KF2 in early August, the French constructor has proved once again its know-how in Junior races (13-15 years).

"I have little experience in international races, but the effectiveness of my SODI chassis is making things much easier for me" stressed Pierre Gasly. "From the very beginning of the season I have achieved excellent results in my first races in KF3, both in the GPO series (second at Essay) and at European level. The ST32 model is really easy to drive and adjust".

On tracks as different as those of Angerville in France, Zuera in Spain or Sarno in Italy, SODI chassis really impressed for their competitiveness, despite increasingly aggressive and tough competition. Already in on it during qualifiers, with a second place in one heat that said a lot about his potential, Pierre Gasly led his SODI-Parilla close to the top 10 in the pre-final, despite a slight collision at the start that damaged his exhaust pipe. The French driver kept his momentum during the final, too.

"I made a good start and I quickly doubled several drivers, until I found myself fighting shoulder to shoulder with the leaders. I really felt in tune with my kart and I said to myself I had a nice card to play. At mid-race I conquered the lead, I could not believe I was leader of the Word Cup. Then, the struggle continued at the lead of the race and I fought until the end to climb on the podium. This third place is a fantastic result and I would like to thank the SODI Team for the quality of its equipment".
